The Mystery of the Cat’s Night

This cat is all wrecked up again. Some mornings he comes in bloody and walking very gingerly, and then he lies down on the dog’s bed and just stays very very still. This morning he smells like grass and blood. I’d give anything to know what his summer nights are like.
